*2010 CDU Guidelines For All Members -
Before you make any transactions, create new threads or reply to any existing threads on the forum, please take a minute to read and understand the following rules. We have encountered a few problems of late and have added more guides as well as adjusted some, we stress to you please read and abide by these rules in order for you and your fellow traders to enjoy this site.
CDU 3 Strike Policy:
CDU has recently put in place a 3 Strike policy system to ensure its members understand and apply these guidelines to the best of their ability, our goal is to keep this a safe place for all its members. Basically each member gets 3 chances unless its something major, your account will be terminated immediately. The CDU team (Admin & Mod) have the right to hand you a strike at any stage if you fail to comply with the general guidelines at the bottom of this thread. You will receive a PM upon receiving this strike with the reason why. Just don't do anything stupid and you will be fine.
1st Strike = 1 Week Ban
2nd Strike = 2 Week Ban
3rd Strike = Indefinite/Perminant Ban

New Members:
As a new member of CDU, you must make a new thread in the “New Member Introductions” section. We ask of this because it will help both you and your fellow traders, think of it as a little meet and greet. There’s a guide located here if you need some help: (NEW MEMBER INTRODUCTIONS GUIDE)
Trading/Selling:
1. From there, you will be required to send first (cards/items even when selling) on your first 5 transactions. Once you have completed 5 successful transactions (received 5 positive feedbacks), you will then no longer be required to send first, unless you trade with a higher rated member on CDU. You can work that out with your fellow trader.
***Once your iTrader shows 5, when selling, we recommend sending once you see a receipt of payment.***
***If a Rookie CDU Member with less than iTrader 5 Rating requests anything different from that listed, PM a Moderator or Administrator.***
***Always request for a scan of the card you are after before agreeing to a deal. This way you know the person has the card and you have seen the condition of the card you wish to purchase.***
Key points to remember are:
- Always request a payment receipt before sending. (Unless your iTrader is less then 5)
- Always keep receipt of postage confirmation.
- Request a scan of item before agreeing to a deal.
- If any deals go sour, please inform a Mod or Admin of the problem and we can try and sort the issue out. Refer below for more information.
2. Document all agreed upon transactions in the “CDU Trade Agreements” Section:

This creates a Record of the Agreement. Failure to do this will result in no proof of an Agreement and CDU will not be able to assist you. CDU cannot guarantee the safety or return of your payment/cards/items, but we will do our best to find a solution. So always use your best judgment when deciding upon an agreement.
***You will notice a Prefix when creating a new thread in this forum, it has, In Progress and Completed included in the tab. The thread starter must ensure this upto date, so when you first enter the thread it is In Progress and then once both parties have given feedback, the thread starter will need to:
- Click Edit, then click Go Advanced.
- Edit the prefix tab from In Progress to Complete.
This helps our Mods team out when moving threads over to the completed forum.
***Never edit the First Post in an agreement Thread. Always add an extra Post with any changes (extra cards, cash etc..) made so both traders can then agree to those changes.***
***Only ever trade cards or items you own and currently hold ‘In-Hand’. Anyone caught in the wrong here will have their account terminated immediately. Best way when dealing on CDU with this matter is to ask for a scan of the card.***
3. Send cards/items out on time, the only exception being if it’s in the Agreement to send at a later date. Otherwise, all cards/items are recommended to be sent out within 48hrs of the transaction agreement (or within 48hrs upon receipt of your item when trading with a Rookie Member). Also the same for Sales (iTrader rating 5 and over) upon receipt of payment.

4. Once an Agreement/Transaction is completed be sure to post this in your Agreement Thread that you’ve received your part of the deal. If there is no ‘Completed’ response from your trader, send them a reminder PM (Private Message) to enquire about it and then you may like to leave feedback for that person.

5. Trades/Sales outside of the CDU Forum Cannot Be documented as an Agreement in the CDU trade agreement forum.
General Guidelines:
6. Treat all CDU Staff, Members, Guests and Sponsors with kindness and respect. Listen to Admin or Mod instructions if you happen to receive some advice on a issue.
7. Do not write/type/post any: Spam, Directed Abuse, Abusive Language, Racial Slurs, Discriminatory Comments or other Directed Taunts (this includes anything off topic or otherwise to spark arguments, irritate members or create trouble in general).
Do not display/post/type/link to any Pornographic, Racial, Degrading, Discriminatory Material on the CDU Forums (this includes your CDU Profile and the PM Function).
***All objections to the above (#7) will be edited as necessary by an Administrator or Moderator. Further action may be taken depending on the extend of the Material posted.***
8. No Promoting of other sites on CDU unless you have approval from CDU Administration. If you have a site you would like to share/associate with CDU Forums, please contact CDU Administrators.
9. If Suspended or Banned from CDU Forums, you may have your ISP permanently blocked from the site if attempts are made to use a different ID.
10. It’s Recommended you don’t share or allow anyone else to use your CDU ID/Account. Please refer them to create their own ID.
